Massive global participation in a new version of Summit IT Arauco 2023.

More than 300 Arauco employees from different IT teams in Chile, Argentina, Brazil, Uruguay, Mexico, Portugal, Canada, and the United States, participated in an exciting day of talks led by Leandro San Miguel, ARAUCO’s CIO, together with Cristian Infante, General Manager, Charles Kimber, People and Sustainability Manager, and Gianfranco Truffello, ARAUCO’s Corporate Finance Manager.

Two days of stories, reflections, and experiences regarding the challenges of technology and innovation in the forestry industry, which – thanks to the participation of guests such as Isabel Aguilera, former CEO of Google Spain/Portugal, and journalist Soledad Onetto – motivated all the teams and areas, both remotely and in person, that are responsible for managing and developing the information systems of our company on a daily basis.

“The purpose was to meet in this virtual space, talk, and learn about the projects that we are doing in the company and that are related to technology but also to learn the opinion of our main leaders, such as the Panel of Managers,” explained San Miguel, ARAUCO’s IT Manager.
